Logging and forest industry
Traction and lifting chains for forestry machinery, sorting, debarking and sawmill lines — selected for the mechanism and operating conditions.
- Skidding and moving timber
- Sorting, debarking and sawmilling
- Anti-slip for forestry machinery
Applications
For logging and the forest industry we manufacture chains for timber handling and processing mechanisms — from machinery at the cutting site to sorting and sawmill lines.
- Skidding and moving timber. Chains as part of forestry machinery and tooling: we select the version and size by the operating conditions and the load of the assembly — the specific application is confirmed by a specialist.
- Sorting, debarking, sawmilling. Traction round-link chains for conveyors and lines: standard duties — to our TU 25.93.17-001-06515248-2020 (class 3), heavy-duty — to our TU 25.93.17-002-06515248-2026 (class 8, T8), by drive calculation. More details — Conveyor chains (traction).
- Anti-slip. For forestry machinery and loaders on snow, ice and soft ground — anti-slip chains: for special machinery and loaders, selected by tyre marking.
- Non-standard lengths, pitches and configurations — custom manufacturing to parameters or a sample.
Which chains are used in logging?
Chains for timber handling and processing mechanisms: from machinery at the cutting site to sorting and sawmill lines. Traction chains — for conveyors and lines. Anti-slip — for forestry machinery on snow, ice and soft ground.
How to select a chain for forestry machinery?
Describe the mechanism, the machinery and the operating conditions: load, environment, duty. For lines and conveyors we need the drive data — traction force, duty, sprocket parameters. For anti-slip, state the tyre marking.
Are non-standard lengths and pitches available?
Yes. We manufacture non-standard lengths, pitches and configurations to order by parameters or a sample. We will select a version from the current range and prepare a quotation.
Selection
Describe the mechanism, the machinery and the operating conditions (load, environment, duty), or send us a chain sample.
- For lines and conveyors, drive data helps: traction force, duty, sprocket parameters — we carry out the selection together with a technologist.
- For anti-slip, state the tyre marking and the machinery.
We will select a version from the current range and prepare a quotation.
