Anti-slip chains

Anti-slip chains for trucks and special machinery — selected by tyre size, heavy-duty chains made to order.

Description

Anti-slip chains improve the traction of trucks and special machinery on snow, ice and off-road. They are selected by the tyre size (marking).

We make heavy-duty anti-slip chains (with a larger diameter of the working and side chain) and chains for the required tyre size — to order.

Choose a category: for trucks or for special machinery and loaders. If you haven't found your size — send us the tyre marking and we will select and manufacture it.

Frequently asked questions

How do I select anti-slip chains by tyre?

The main selection parameter is the tyre marking from the tyre sidewall, for example 315/80 R22.5: the catalog table has a filter by marking. The machinery type and surface are additionally taken into account, as they determine the pattern and the link reinforcement. If your size is not in the table — send us the tyre marking and we will make it to order.

How do the SOTA and LESENKA versions differ?

SOTA is a chain pattern in the form of honeycomb cells, LESENKA — cross links (traction bars) connected by longitudinal chains. Both versions increase traction on snow, ice and soil and differ in the contact pattern with the surface. The set options in the table (for example, 8/7, 8/8, 10/8, and 6/5 for special machinery) are chain configurations, not weight and not class; a manager will clarify the suitable option.

Do you make heavy-duty chains and chains for a non-standard tyre size?

Yes. To order we make heavy-duty chains — with a larger diameter of the working and side chain — and chains for any tyre size, including those not in the table. For large-diameter wheels and high loads, the 6/5 version is intended for special machinery and loaders.

How do I fit and maintain anti-slip chains?

The chains are fitted on the drive wheels before starting to drive on a slippery section; about 500 metres after fitting the chain is re-tightened. On roads cleared of snow and ice the chains should preferably be removed, and the driving speed with chains is no more than 50 km/h. If any defect is found, the chain should be removed immediately; roadside repair is carried out with connecting links.
