FAQ
Frequently asked questions about products, ordering, payment and delivery.
Why are there no prices on the website and how do I get a price?
We provide prices and quotations on request via a manager. This is the correct approach for B2B: the price depends on the size, length, coating, volume and supply terms. Describe your task — we will prepare a calculation and a quotation.
How do I decode a chain designation?
Our designation follows the scheme: Chain {class}-{type}-{gauge}×{pitch}×{width}, for example A1-3-6×19×21. A1 — short-link calibrated, 3 — strength class, 6×19×21 — gauge × pitch × width in mm. The item card has the designation with a legend.
Which strength classes are available?
For general-purpose chains — normal-strength classes (2; 2.5; 3). Class 8 (G80) high-strength lifting chains — to a separate TU. We select for the load by the proof (WLL) and breaking (BL) loads.
How do I select a chain for a load?
Describe the working load and the conditions (traction, sling, lifting) — we will select a size with the required safety factor. The website has a “Selection by load” tool: it suggests sizes from our range. Rely on the working load (WLL), not on the breaking load (BL).
In what lengths are the chains supplied?
The chains are supplied in cut lengths; the length is specified when ordering. Standard lengths and agreed cut lengths are possible — this is clarified with a manager together with the size and coating.
Are technical specifications (TU) and certificates available?
The products are manufactured to current TUs. We provide technical specifications and accompanying documents on request — due to market specifics we do not publish the documents openly. A datasheet with the item's specifications can be downloaded from the item card.
Our documentation specifies a previous TU (for example, 25.93.17-001-26518198-2016) — can you manufacture to it?
Yes. The products of our general-purpose line are equivalent to TU 25.93.17-001-26518198-2016 in size range and load norms; we currently manufacture to the current TU 25.93.17-001-06515248-2020. If your engineering documentation specifies the previous TU number, we will provide a confirmation of technical equivalence on delivery — we will agree the wording with you via a manager.
How do I get a quality certificate for the products?
The item card has a “Request certificate” button and a QR code: the request goes to a quality department manager. When the document is ready, a link to the PDF appears on the request page and is sent to Telegram; the document carries an authenticity verification QR code.
Do you have analogues of imported chains (DIN, EN, ISO)?
Yes. We select and manufacture Russian analogues of imported chains — by standard, size, load or drawing. For example: DIN 763 and DIN 766 (strength class 3), DIN 818-2 / EN 818-2 (class 8, T8/G80). The specific correspondence is clarified by a technologist for the size and task.
How is delivery arranged?
We ship across Russia. Delivery by transport companies, pickup from the warehouse and delivery to the customer's address are possible. The cost and timeframes depend on the volume and destination — a manager calculates them.
How does payment work?
We work under a contract or an invoice-contract, payment by bank transfer (for legal entities and sole proprietors). The payment terms and procedure are agreed when placing the order. The invoice-contract reserves the products for its validity period.
Do you manufacture items to drawings?
Yes. We manufacture parts, tooling and special items to drawings, sketches or samples, and also perform galvanic zinc plating to order. Send a drawing (PDF/DWG/DXF) or a sample — we will assess it and prepare a quotation.
How do I select and fit anti-slip chains?
The set is selected by tyre marking and machinery type: for trucks, special machinery and loaders. The step-by-step fitting, re-tightening and removal procedure is described in the article “Fitting anti-slip chains” on the website; the catalog has a table with a filter by tyre marking.
What should I include in the enquiry to get a quotation faster?
The size or designation of the chain, the required load, length and quantity, coating; for non-standard items — a drawing (PDF/DWG/DXF) or a sample. If the parameters are unknown — just describe the task, we will help you select.
Are certificates or declarations required for lifting chains?
We supply chains as a product — in cut lengths and on reels; such products are not a finished load-handling device. The documents for critical and load-handling operations are agreed separately — with the plant's technologist and the occupational safety service. A declaration under TR CU 010/2011 is issued for finished load-handling devices (for example, an assembled sling) — for such requests, check the composition and documents with a manager.
