Frequently asked questions
How do the TsDS, TsGP and TsPK chains differ?
TsDS — individual tethering with a swivel: it keeps the chain from twisting. TsGP — a chain for group cattle tethering, TsPK — for stall housing. All three are used in cattle housing equipment.
What material are the tethering chains made from and which coating should I choose?
The material is low-carbon steel; coating to order: barrel finishing (polished “black” chain) or galvanic zinc plating. For damp farm conditions zinc plating is preferable: an aggressive damp environment accelerates corrosion, so the chain is inspected periodically, and at any defect the element is replaced.
Can I order a chain for our stall equipment of a non-standard length?
Yes, we manufacture tethering chains in any gauges, non-standard sizes and configurations — for existing stall equipment or to a drawing. State the tethering type (individual, group, stall), the number of animals and the conditions — we will select the recommended gauge and length for your task.
