Cattle tethering chains: TsDS, TsGP, TsPK

Why a chain in tethering
On a farm the tether works around the clock: constant jerks from the animal, moisture, bedding and cleaning agents. In such conditions a chain resists abrasion and does not “fatigue” from repeated loads — that is why it remains the standard for livestock housing equipment.
Three types of tethering
TsDS — individual tethering with a swivel
The TsDS chain is individual cattle tethering with a swivel. The swivel keeps the chain from twisting: the animal can turn, while the chain does not shorten and wears less.
TsGP — group tethering
The TsGP chain is for group cattle tethering: a strong, durable solution for housing animals.
TsPK — stall housing
The TsPK chain is for tethering in a stall: used in cattle housing equipment.
Material and coating
- Material: low-carbon steel.
- Coating to order: barrel finishing (polished “black” chain) or galvanic zinc plating — for damp housing conditions.
Selection for a specific farm
We manufacture tethering chains in any gauges, non-standard sizes and configurations — for existing stall equipment or to a drawing. A manager will confirm the recommended gauge and length for your housing type: state the tethering type (individual, group, stall), the number of animals and the conditions.
Care and operation
- Periodically inspect the links, fasteners and the swivel (on TsDS) — at any defect the element is replaced.
- An aggressive damp environment accelerates corrosion: choose zinc plating and do not leave the chain in damp conditions longer than necessary.
- When preparing for the season, check the wear and, if necessary, order replacements in sets.
