Round-link chains on reels (DIN 763/766)
Round-link chains on reels — analogues of DIN 763 (long-link) and DIN 766 (short-link); cutting to measured lengths and winding to the customer's metreage.
Description
We supply round-link chains on reels — analogues of DIN 763 (long-link) and DIN 766 (short-link). Reel packaging is convenient for installation, cutting to a specified length and assembling products.
- cutting chains to measured lengths;
- winding chains onto reels to the customer's metreage.
Material, gauge and coating — on request (low-carbon steel, barrel finishing, zinc plating). Send us the required metreage and gauge — we will select the version.
Retail-ready packaging
A special offer for wholesalers and retail chains: galvanized calibrated chain on reels, ready for sale to the end customer.
- Reel: length 250 mm, diameter Ø195 mm; packaging — a corrugated box 240×240×255 mm, delivered on pallets.
- Labelling — with the manufacturer's or the customer's labels (at choice).
- Standard metreage: 4×40 — 38 m, 5×21 — 30 m, 5×36 — 32 m, 6×42 — 18 m, 8×48 — 10 m.

Frequently asked questions
How do the DIN 763 and DIN 766 chains on reels differ?
DIN 763 is a long-link chain: the pitch is noticeably larger than the rod diameter, so the chain is flexible and suits fencing, suspensions and securing cargo. DIN 766 is short-link calibrated: the link is shorter and the pitch is held more precisely, which matters for mechanisms and operation with a sprocket. These are reference standards; Russian analogues of both are manufactured to our TU 25.93.17-001-06515248-2020 (class 3), and the final conformity is confirmed by a technologist.
Can I order cutting and winding to our metreage?
Yes: we cut chains to measured lengths and wind them onto reels to the customer's metreage. “On reels” is a delivery method, not a characteristic of the chain: both long-link and short-link chains are wound onto reels, so choose by the link type, calibration and load, and the metreage by the task.
Which group of the TU do DIN 763 and DIN 766 correspond to?
For a typical replacement, DIN 763 is closest to the non-calibrated long-link version (group B2), and DIN 766 to the short-link calibrated one (group A1); with non-standard requirements, B1 and A2 are possible. Verify the gauge, pitch, width and loads against the TU-001 table. The final conformity for the specific task and size is confirmed by a technologist.
